FAQ

I want to go for a plastic surgery, but my close relatives do not agree with it. Is it an often problem?
(N.F. 36y old, 1 child, secretary, question about breasts modeling)

This is a frequently asked question. This operation has a lot to do with sexual perception of a woman, therefore this question should be solved before the operation. In these cases I suggest the husband's presence during the consultations. The final decision must be consistent including the surgeon's, who explains the possibilities and limitations of the reconstruction.

After the surgery, is it important to protect the skin before intensive sun light?
(M.B., 51y old, 2 children, question about face-lifting)

When you expose the skin to a direct sun light, the skin dries and risk of a skin cancer increases. Great amounts of UV radiation quickens skin aging and it looses elasticity. Just like smoking, a chronic intoxication from UV radiation are factors that cause skin trauma. Sun tanning of yet not fully healed scars can cause skin pigmentation. If you feel that after tanning the skin is "younger" and without smaller face-lines, it is just temporary feeling caused by a small skin swelling after skin trauma. I should mention, however, it is possible to do face surgeries in the southern countries without any risk. It is only necessary to use safety devices and ointments. There is a great variety of them.

After face-lifting I worry that my face will be stiff and numb.
(J.B., 51y old, saleswoman, question about face-lifting)

These worries are absolutely needles. It is impossible to cause face stiffness or numbness after first or even second lifting. The point of this operation is to make the skin look younger leaving the natural expression.
